There are a lot of contradiction in this movie, particularly the contradiction between human and nature. I hate to see what the human do to the nature, so does the nature do to the human. Human exploits the nature to survive, but isn't there any way to balance the relationship back? Is it the fate of human to continue the exploitation? Personally, I had been turned down every time I want to start my own recycling activities. I looked stupid to those who think I can't do this, that includes my mom. I ended my activities very quickly then. I was helpless...
I envy Princess Mononoke sometimes, because she can talk to the animals and understand them. For me, animals are more kind then the human. Though they are wild, they live with their own pride and thoughts, unlike the human who only hurts the others to benefit themselves (that's many of them around me).
Yes, sometimes the nature is scary and horrible, but it sure has the beautiful side of it. We can see it from many art works by the artists and poets. I am not saying I understand the nature very much, it at least impresses me as a lovely nature being. One of the main character, Ashitaka impresses me with this logic.
I am very grateful that this wonderful movie 'Princess Mononoke' by Ghibli Studio exists in my lifetime~
这部电影是一部很多矛盾的电影。就像宫崎先生所说的，那是人类与大自然之间的矛盾。看见人类对大自然的所作所为，我不禁鸡皮疙瘩，但又看见自然对人类所有的反应和憎恨，觉得惭愧不已但有无能为力，因为人类就是要靠着消磨自然来生存。难道没有方法可以两全其美吗？人类就不可以和自然并存吗？很多时候我试着进行一些个人的环保活动，但都被家里的人看成傻瓜，更被妈妈指責我的行为，因此我都很快就放弃我的理念，也很快的又想再开始我的环保活动。这一切都像个循环，虎头蛇尾。我也不知道该怎办了。。。
我也很羡慕小桑，因为她可以和很多动物谈话，知道他们的需要和了解他们的心情。真的，动物比人类友善得多了！动物们虽然有野性，但也为了活下去而以自己的能力活下去，但不会为了活下去而故意加害别人，借此提升自己的地位。
虽然宫崎先生一直提出森林是阴森恐怖的，但其实它也是很可爱的，不然哪来那么多描绘自然的美的诗歌和艺术品呢？我不了解自然，但我爱它。这点是向电影里的主角 阿席达卡 学的。衷心感谢 吉卜力 制作的这部电影，《魔法公主》~
